Neom Investment Fund (NIF) has signed a milestone agreement with European construction automation and robotics company GMT Robotics. This is a major step towards the realization of an ambitious project for a "city of the future" in the desert.


The Neom project, including the futuristic The Line and the grandiose Epicon skyscrapers, promises to become a benchmark for the architecture of tomorrow. But such a scale requires enormous resources. GMT Robotics' automated systems will reduce labor costs by 90% and speed up construction through innovative solutions.


Automation is the key to optimizing work and reducing material costs. Neom already consumes 20% of the world's steel, and GMT Robotics' technologies will help to cope with these volumes more efficiently.


Details of the deal are still being kept secret, but one thing is clear: the future of the metropolis is getting closer.
