Government Action Against USDT Poses Unpredictable Risks

Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple, spoke out sharply against the US government’s actions regarding Tether. He believes that any government action against the USDT issuer could have an unpredictable impact on the cryptocurrency markets.

Crypto Exchanges vs SEC Litigation between US Securities and Exchange Commission and major crypto exchanges is ongoing.  The SEC, following the position of its head Gary Gensler, accuses Coinbase, Binance and Kraken of illegal work as unlicensed securities trading activities. Tether leaves the crypto community When we talk about cryptocurrencies, we imagine something independent, free from traditional finance. This is true, but only for certain cryptocurrencies that are fully decentralized. A fine example is Bitcoin.
